Saturday December 13th THE ORCHESTRA OF SEPTENTRIONAL celebrated their sixtieth anniversary at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Somerville MA.
The orchestra was brought in by Relax production incorporated with
Charly Roberts (the sentimentalist). The elite of Boston answered in big numbers to the invitation of RELAX PRODUCTION for the orchestra’s 60th anniversary. Every public figure in the Boston Haitian American community was present as well as the cape Haitian natives to show their pride, love and support for the Orchestra of Septentrional of Haiti.
The party was aired live on radio planet compas. The presentation of the public figure was made by: Jacque Bomecu, the deputy of Boston Marie St fleur, the vice consulate general of Haiti Mr. Jean Joseph Leandre, the runner up for the city counsel Mr. Jean Claude Sannon, the commissioner of the city of Brockton Mr. Fred Fontaine, Marc Sam Dalzon, etc...
The whole night went on as it was programmed and advertised; from 7 to 8pm dinner was served, from 8 to 9:55 pm the public figure took turn delivering their honorary speech to Septemtrional ended by long live the Orchestra. By 9:45 the waitresses removed the table from the dance floor area as the band was getting ready to start.
As advertised the ball began at 10 o’clock and every song played was a request from one of the fans. Within 2 minutes 90% of the guess started dancing until the ball was over. This party was not like the usual but yet every one had a ball the male dressed like gentlemen and the women like divas it was o one of a kind party.
When it comes to bringing legends in to town, Relax production is the way to go. If you missed the opportunity to see our legendary artist the oldest compass band yet at their best, you are invited to their next ball on April 18th 2009 @ the Lambados in Randolph MA, for a night you will carry with you for ever.
The Haitian Music Industry Congratulates Relax Production for a prestigious party well put together and wishes The Orchestra of Septemtrional a happy 60th anniversary.
