While we're waiting for the release of the star-studded "We Are the World" remake recorded last Monday in Hollywood, we can listen to the star-studded remake of R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts" that SIMON COWELL has produced for Haitian earthquake relief. The song debuted on British radio Tuesday, and will be available for download at HMV.com, Play.com or Amazon.co.uk. It features more than 20 stars, including LEONA LEWIS, ROD STEWART, MILEY CYRUS, MARIAH CAREY, JON BON JOVI, JAMES BLUNT, MICHAEL BUBLE and many artists who are huge in England but not very well known in the U.S., like CHERYL COLE.
Proceeds from the track will go to the UK's Disasters Emergency Committee and Helping Haiti, a campaign spearheaded by the British paper the
Sun.
