We are now getting reports from very credible sources that Al Baguidi, founder of Al Haitian Compas Festival Fort Lauderdale, Inc., may end up buying the assets of KreyolFest and OpaMizik.

As many of you have heard, KreyolFest, which has been running under a low budget production for 9 years, is in financial trouble. It's no secret that Kreyolfest is a dying breed, so AL will mostly likely turn KreyolFest over to his friend Sweet Micky who has the potential to revive and resurrect KreyolFest next year.

According to a note posted on OpaMizik by OpaEssence, founder of the now defunct promotion company Bonbagay Entertainment.
"Opa Mizik is for sale. I'm just going to focus more on the TV which is a real TV and I have other people who's invested and wants to take over most of it. I'll still have a say."

Garry Piere-Pierre, founder of KreyolFest, hasn't made an official announcement yet, but people from inside and outside the organization are confirming the acquisition.
News about these developments and the official announcement on the acquisition will follow.
